What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

I got a 1.5" Truxxx kit. It's already a tight fit in my garage. Can't really do any more. The very first mod I did was a Stubby radio antenna since the stocker was getting beat up on the garage door with stock height and tires.

Right on, clearance issue is a bummer. When are you building a bigger garage?

Forced mine to drag another squarebody home lol. Probably a touch overloaded again, shelovesit.

Can't. House is brick. Plan on moving to Florida in a few years and get a new house. Wife and I only stay here to take care of our parents and when they're gone we're outta here. I already have my Florida funeral director license and she can either work her current job from home or find something else.

Finally got to getting the oil changed, inspecting the brakes, swapping tires, and lubing all the latches and hinges on the FX4. Only 2 months late...

Mow the grass, bag the grass, dump the grass, then use 4wd for gravitational help hosing out the grass.

@JohnnyO when you did the transmission fluid, how many quarts did it take? The Service Manual just says 5 quarts to start. I’m guessing 6 but I don’t want to be caught short.

I didn’t do the transmission, only the t-case and axles.

Took it to the dealer for the SCab rear seat child restraint recall. Includes new rear headrests that fold down. I had removed the old ones to see better. Unlikely that I will ever put a child seat in back anyway.

Why do they fold down like that?
So you can see out the back window. The rear headrests on my old Sport Trac did the same thing.

Oh, Ithought it something to do with the child seats.
It must. It was part of the recall. The original headrests were fixed and that's why I took them off.

I don't think that's the case in the Ranger and my old Sport Trac though. The rear seat headrest angle isn't adjustable, they're either straight up or laying flat.
They just fold down so you can see better out the back window.
