What are you reading?

What am I reading right now? TRS of course...:P

AS for what book I am reading, I am reading Plum Island by Nelson DeMille for the second time. I really like the main character, John Corey. his sarcasm and wit are pretty good.

I just got done with "Pandora's Star" and "Judas Unchained" (the sequel to Pandora's Star). I was thinking about reading "Ender's Game" tonight and then starting on "Battlefield Earth" again (like the 12th time).

I have over 300 books... usually go through 1-3 a week, everything from fiction, to history, to classics, to bibliographies.... might be easier to ask what I don't read (you will NOT find any harry potter in my library...).

Your library is weak. I am not sure what teffie has but it filled up the Suburban (neatly boxed) from the front seat (with the middle seat folded down and the rear seat out) floor to ceiling all the way to the rear doors...... I had my Load "E" tires inflated to 65 PSI and they were bulging....... You will find all 7 Harry Potter books in my Library....... what you will not find is John Grisham.

I just finished Long Way Down, and have now moved on to "The Treehouse Voyage" by TRS's very own William Wills.

its on my list to buy...... can't buy anything until January..... Christmas wiped me out

Reading "To kill a mocking bird" with my 8 yr old son. He wanted to know about the stigma of racism, and why people from farther South seem to not like black people. I figured that it would an easy intro for him. He got started becuase we had a black family try to move in in town awhile back, and he noticed that the family would take boxes in to the house, almost as fast as the neighbors were bringing them back out to the truck. The family finally got the Sherrifs dept. over there to stop the "help" from helping them move.

i am reading deep six by clice cussler. read several of his books, great reads.

You know, I like Cussler too, inspite of the corny piercing blue eyes and invincibility and last minute saves that you know are going to happen. Sort of takes the tension out of it when nother ever goes wrong after the 2-minute warning--it's like Peyton manning or something. I find myself rooting for the bad guys at the end.

But the part I do like is the way they start with the historical fiction and then the attachment to the present. And Cussler is a great guy, funding adventures himself. Look him up.

Yeah, and read my book. :icon_thumby:

i just read the ranger's owner manual:icon_twisted: im currently reading a book about vampires, dwarfs, werewolves, zombies and all those things, nothing to good, i havent got a chance to read something good again. last good book was da vinci's code. and the regular magazines

Im going to try Will's book after I get done with Into the Wild.
