what 35s or 36s is everyone running?

i am aware of the price. i dont care too much about price bc its not a daily driver anymore. but i needs to be able to drive 3 hours to the trail, wheel the trail, and drive home. i dont care too much about how loud they are. i like loud tires anyway. i just dont want a tire that will clunk apart before i get there. the tsl boggers are the only thing i am ruling out bc i would assume those would come apart before i got to the trail.
The only time the BOGGERs "chunk out" are if you over inflate them. I have ran 35x14.5x15 BOGGERs on mine for years and have driven it on the street, to and from the trails. They dont last long on the street though, even with short mileage rotations. I don't know how they do with a straight axle, but the ttb eats them up.

Thats a very sharp ranger!!!

Nothing wrong with TSL's or depending just how much street you are running the bias models do work fine. Mine are a little bigger than you asked (38.5's) but you get the idea. I run them down the street tubed without issues and even with the welded rear they don't wear horribly.

Those are the plane TSL's

These are the TSL SX's which run a little small for their size just FYI.

a little. i live in columbus oh. which ohio gets snow but columbus has a damn heat bubble over it so not much gets in the city. but obviously when i go wheelin i am not in the city. to be honest i spend as much time out of the city as i can. i got a family farm 30 mins out of the city i spend a lot of time on. and the truck does some work out there.

i guess my answer should be yes then lol. that was me thinking out loud i guess. i was looking at the baja claws too. they just dont look super aggressive. but that doesnt make they dont grab like crazy. thats why i am asking all you guys. i just want insane traction. i do hit mud, snow, ice, rocks, and dirt. i guess just a lot of trail riding.

Im going to say if you live in the city and have to drive three hours to get to some decent off road it may benefit you more to just buy some tractor tires. You can pick up agricultural tires with the even shelves for 15", 16", and 17" wheels for the same price as the tires you are looking at. Then just grab a decent set of used 31s for the daily use.

When I used to drive my trail truck off and on the road I had a set of 32" A/Ts and a set of 31" tractor tires. I would just change them on the trail in 15-20 minutes. Nothing beats a tractor tire design. Its the best.

Now I live on the border of 6,000 acres of reserve land and another 8,000 acres across the street so the tractor tires just stay on for good :headbang:

another good choice is the Interco SSR , they actualy run larger than there advertised size, and they are radials ( a little bit more agressive than the trxus, but not as good in wet, snow, ice) if you want a bad ass looking tire, interco LTB, they have huge offset lugs, there only downfall .....bias (downfall for a DD)

oh and try searching google images for pics with the tires on trucks, very often the "site images" don't do the tires justice

agreed. i was thinking about going with the ltb but bias is kind of a kick in the pants. the link on the first page of this thread with all the reviews of tons of tires was an awesome link. helped me pick a tire. tsl radial seems to be the way to go.

tsl radials are definitely a great tire
just be careful in wet conditions

i suppose i should mention the tires i'm running
federal couragia MT
not really the best quality tire
they had a few quality issues in the past
as long as you have a good dealer and keep an eye on the tires
i wouldn't worry

but the grip you get is insane!
i have purposely tried to get the tire to hydroplane and failed
and they control very wellin snow (they are snow rated)
very predictable tire
everything i used to do in 4wd i can do in 2wd now (comparing to khumo kl71's)

they do come in 35s
i consider them the poor mans trxus lol
but perform better in mud

Goodyear MTR Kevlars. Love them. Over 40 on street and they hold they also perform well in most of off road situations. Not the best sticky mud tire, but you win them all.lol

Also pretty kick ass on snowy and wet roads.

They flex well and stay on the rim at 15-20 psi.

I had set of Super Swamper SSR? I think they were.

But they were a radial with the traditional Swamper pattern, but were siped in the middle lugs for wet or icy conditions.

But they were toasted after 10k on the street.
