what 35s or 36s is everyone running?

looking more at the m16 and the creepy crawlers they are too much of an a/t tire than i want. i need something with some meat on it. i just want something that will perform great off road and that i can drive to the trail.

Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC's. They are 35's. I wish I would have went with 37's instead. They are down right sexy! I didn't want to wait the ridiculous months for Goodyear to produce more MTR's so I went with these.

There's a wait for MTR'S? I just ordered 4 from the Tire Rack at $239 per.

Yeah about a year ago when I bought my claws. Waited over a month and gave up.

yes those are all interco's
question will you truck be seing any snow or icy conditions?

a little. i live in columbus oh. which ohio gets snow but columbus has a damn heat bubble over it so not much gets in the city. but obviously when i go wheelin i am not in the city. to be honest i spend as much time out of the city as i can. i got a family farm 30 mins out of the city i spend a lot of time on. and the truck does some work out there.

i guess my answer should be yes then lol. that was me thinking out loud i guess. i was looking at the baja claws too. they just dont look super aggressive. but that doesnt make they dont grab like crazy. thats why i am asking all you guys. i just want insane traction. i do hit mud, snow, ice, rocks, and dirt. i guess just a lot of trail riding.

if your gonna see snow, ice and want radials i suggest

Interco Trxus MT's
nothing comes close in comparison to the winter traction you will get with these tires, it's based off the TSL design, but with a lot of sipings
they are KING for winter traction, those and Iroks,

fyi they now make Iroks in Radials :D

i didnt know they made tsl in radials. interco's website needs a serious update lol. i really like the look of the tsl tires. i have always wanted them but i thought they were all bais ply. i might be leaning towards those.

And the IROK also come in a radial

i just love the way the tsl looks. the huge chunks of rubber on the corner of the tire just screams "lets grab anything that comes our way" lol. but the irok would be much better with ice and snow and the trxus reminds me too much of an a/t compared to the others.

The TrXus is far from an AT

lol i know that. but next to those other 2 tires it looks like an a/t bc the other treads are super aggressive.

Check out the Wrangler Duratrac. They offer it in a metric sized 35". I believe only on a 16" rim though. Look at the tread and see it's a radial swamper rip-off designed to be used on-road too.

I love my 31" ones, excellent traction on every surface they've met. Reviews are pretty good, nearly 12k on mine and little if no wear. They only have 9/16" of tread though. Handle pretty good on the street and aren't terribly noisy until 70+mph.

Haven't had a problem in thick black mud, sugar sand, soupy sand-mud, haven't destroyed one on the couple rocks I've hit. But we don't have rocks to crawl around here.

If I didn't buy these again when I go up to 35's in the moderate future, it'll probably be the Kevlars.

i think i am going tsl radials when the time comes. hopefully that will be spring time. i got a lot of parts to buy by then lol.
