If you have the same landlocked Atlantic salmon we have (only in lakes, great lakes don't count) the meat, to me anyway taste just like any typical trout. Rainbow, brown, or brook. It never gets that real, i dunno "salmon flavor". Its still delicious but taste like trout and i can stock up on trout without going far or trying hard. Its been insane for me cause parks are closed but they did still stock and I know where to fish outside the park systems. Beaches are also closed but the delaware river is open in a ton of spots and I've got a few striper in the freezer too. Crabbing and clamming is gonna suck this year and those permits cost me nesr 100 bucks of wasted money... i have commercial pots for blueclaw crab which is my favorite but no where to put them.
