What’s for dinner tonite!

Tonight I sucked the flavor out of some old popsicle sticks. Unfortunately I had made them into a birdhouse so the flavor wasn't great...

Petite sirloin and baked potato. No picture. When I went back outside to turn off the grill, my dog did some "counter surfing". She got a whole steak. She left the blue cheese crumbles on the floor. Luckily, I had grilled all three steaks from the package.

At least she didn't get them all.

Sounds like our youngest daughter... she knows she shouldn't but just can't help herself.

DINNER IS SERVED

I don't get it?

You're here aren't you...

Yup, and I believe I’m sane... just let me believe it, it’s what gets me through the days.

Ok, maybe I’m not sane, but I’m not insane.

Kentucky Fried Pigeon for us

My mom use to make us hot dogs like that years ago. I think she used canned biscuit dough. I might have to do them one of these days. She also made this thing she called Sausage Corn Bread Sunrise. She would mix up Jiffy corn bread mix and add a pinch of sugar. She would then place a pack of smokie links in the bottom of the baling dish and pour the corn bread batter over it. Bake it like corn bread. She would serve it with scrambled eggs with cheese. Haven't had that since I was a kid...

The tea biscuits were homemade. The wiener wraps used canned dough. I can't remember exactly what kind but it was on sale or I wouldn't have bought it. They turned out pretty good.

In my country we call them corn dogs. They are a national delicacy eaten only by the most wealthy and sophisticated social elite under the urine soaked bleachers of a race track.
