Hey it was worth a shot just too new and too nice for my budget. but im liken this '99 alot. slap some bgf all terrains on their and itd be a realy sexy truck

If you like small trucks you can't go wrong really. Just check it over close and maybe have an independent shop look at it.

$6 k for that truck is way too much, it is 11yo and yes the mileage is low but it still has a CEL on, so I wouldn't go above $4500

around here at least, a truck for $4500 will have over 100k mi and usually some decent rust, but not too bad. And they should be fixing the cel. I actually just saw a really clean 2000 with 94k mi 4x4 4 door etc for $7500 on craislist. It sold and probably not for too much less as it was at a used car lot.

I'm from NH so I know what is around here. I passed up a clean 2003 with 150k for $5k. from my understanding the ford engines are very dependable so high mileage shouldn't be a concern. the reason prices are so high around here is people spending the big money for them, same reason home prices went through the roof.

Thats too many miles for me, even if it is dependable. I dont want to go over 120,000. This is just the best i've seen in my budget and with the options i want.

And basically if people are paying more then its worth more. They wont go low if they now people will buy it for more.

Exactly. so if you are buying it at that price they you are the one causing the prices to be so high.

Im not going to buy it at that price but i think $4500 is too low for that truck. I see what your saying but theres no way to prevent it. I can either pay for a truck or not have one.

run the numbers and see what it is worth, the worse they are going to say when you offer them 45 is no, they will most likely counter offer
