well, got to use it . . . .

Maybe that one just need a lift and 35s to make it look right?

Now see Copy . . nice looking truck, but I don't care for the front of yours. Not trying to bash you because it is a nice truck. But to me, it doesn't look old, not vintage. I was entirely after the vintage look. Not bad ass, not an off road vehicle, hill climber or anything . . just old. I want people to turn there head and say . . . what is that or such. And . . they do. So I achieved my goal, I guess you did too.

So I achieved my goal, I guess you did too.

Different strokes for different folks. Yes I achieved what I was after and you would be surprized at how many people ask me about the early bronco grill and how hard it was to install.

Now if you look at your pictures and look at pictures of mine you will see that they are nothing alike. Just the fact that the round lights are the same and the marker light placement is about the same. That's about it.

Just a suggestion in that to paint the lower part of the grill between the actual grill and the bumper might break it up a bit and may make the front look better. I think what it is is the grill and bumper being all white make the front look too tall.

To me this looks a bit better.

See, it doesn't look "too tall" to me. I had thought about how I would paint it . . but for now I'm happy. Putting a "real" early grille in truck is unique and will have some unique issues. I have also done a '61 F100 grille in my Ranger, perhaps you would like that look better as the grilles aren't so long.

PetesPonies do you have a tread on how you did your grill ?? I like it, and I just got a 89 with the plastic head lamps, and would love to do a conversion on it like yours, I also have a 88 ranger, I might want to do the same with it.

Thank you for the great ideas

Robert

No I don't have any pics of the actual cutting of the grille. I can take some closer pics if that may help. You will need to go with older fenders on that '89 though. The cutouts for the wrap around lights make the 89/90 fenders unusable. I have an '89 Ranger, that I will be putting a '61 F100 grille in. I have older fenders painted and ready for the swap. Let me know what I can do for you. Good luck.

hehehehe o got a 86 bronco II that needs its fenders sold....

thats the best lookin eb grill iv ever seen on a b2:headbang:

One of the regulars has a sweeter one. I can't remember who though but it is sexy.

if you can post some pictures of the grill and stuff that would be really nice

ramoyer1 where do you live ??

lol you alrdy asked me about my rims and tires on the other post....

I really like the front grill out of copykat's B2.It ties together real nice looks good never seen a EB with that grill reminds me of a ford van or something.

when you do this, I hope you take a bunch of pictures, and post it, If I like what it looks like I might do my BII that way, but I'm thinking of doing my 88 ranger the way you did your BII and early grill.

I likes it

I'm hoping you aren't meaning my grille. I mean . . its an EB grille and it should look exactly as it is. Wow . . looks like a van grille to you? Too funny . . maybe we should have an IQ quiz for this site??
