Has anyone ran weld draglites on there ranger?

I'm sure SOMEONE has.

Any pics of these "Weld Draglites" would help somebody recognize them.

I think @Maritime Drag Racing runs draglites...

I'm not sure how well they would handle todays roads on a driver.

They seem to be fine on mustangs i dont think they are the super skinny fronts

I was thinking you still did some truck stuff with your truck...

Wheels are often round.

Not the Ranger, The Ram does truck stuff...

Ranger is a toy/drive to work and some other places. I do use it for simple light duty tasks no reason to load it up to much the Ram is more than capable whether its a ton of coal or pulling around the trailer with a truck or car. Considering that cost and aggravation this Ranger causes me I dont need to strain it anymore than I do just flying around.

These are Weld Draglites. They're round, meaning they run true, and are very light. The 8" rear wheels with 265/50r15's on them weigh less than the 195/70r13 spare on a steel wheel. If you bump the surface it's easy to scratch them and you need to be careful when mounting tires to not scuff them up. If I had 5 lugs I'd have some 16" aluminum wheels that look like Magnum 500's instead. The 4 lug version of the Magnums looks dopey.

I know what they are.
There was a set on my roller mustang I picked up recently.
I was wondering more about if I would need wheel spacers in the front etc....

I don't like the magnums to be honest.
I would prefer a set of 10 holes from a fox lmr has the new black ones but they are 4 lug I cant find anything similar in 5 lug

Drag lites come in a variety of back spacing, you can order what you need after taking some measurements. I'm an old guy with a French name, I like shiny wheels, black wheels look like they belong on a taxi or a winter beater.

Thanks for the pic. I've seen them 1000's of times, just never heard them called by name, I guess.

I've always thought of the ten hole wheels as LX wheels, the GT's had turbine spoke wheels that were even lighter but miserable to clean.

Ive never been a fan of them. They remind of :

I wish these were the phone we still had primarily in the world atleast these you can really slam. Its not as satisfying when you finger blast the end button or poke the screen to end a angry phone call. Plus they made that loud ring bang sound when you slammed the receiver lol
