So my little ranger has a nice "washer lift" up front, I've installed new camber bushings and adjusted to within a reasonable degree. Roughly .5* positive, I can't go any further due to the spindle pivot knuckle contacting the inside of the axle beam. ( I clearanced the knuckle as much as I am willing to )

Anyways, my question: When reversing my camber changes to negative by approx. 3*. Is this a normal occurrence with the TIB suspension, or an indicator of wore parts ? New to TIB's so any technical info or personal experience would be great.

IIRC it can happen depending on how the toe is set. If you have too much positive toe, then as you reverse it will pull the front suspension down which will make your camber go more negative.

As for worn parts, you have 5 wear items per side (excluding tires) that can affect your alignment. Two ball joints obviously, tie rod end, radius arm bushings, and axle pivot bushing. Of those the tie rod end and radius arm bushings would be most likely to cause the issue if it's due to something being worn.

Thanks for the reply, I have not set toe yet. Was still fine tuning camber/caster, and toe is obviously last. I know the toe is out so Ill try getting on that once I have time. I'm avoiding a full shop alignment until after I receive my 4" rough country lift. ( Planned for fall install ) As for now I mostly use the truck for to/from work 3.2 kilometers, Thanks again. As for anyone else with input feel free, Im always open to thoughts.
