Weight and bed length

Anyone know much a 1988 range Ranger ext cab weighs ? Also is the bed on an ext cab the same size as a standard cab 2WD.

ext cab is short bed.

my 4x4 was about 4100 plus but lists at 37 or 3800.

The answer to your second question is it depends...The extended cab Ranger has the short bed on it (6 ft). Some regular cab Rangers have the short bed, some have the long bed (7 ft). the best at a glance advice I have seen on here for how to tell the difference between the two without grabbing a tape measure (like in a classified picture) is that on the driver side the fuel door for a short bed is very close to the front edge of the bed, on a long bed it is more centered between the wheel well and the front edge of the bed.

As for the answer to the first part, I will let a more qualified member give you that figure

well, i have had guys tell me 3/4 ton dodge 4x4 ext cabs with cummins only weight 4500 pounds because of edmunds and there was no way my truck was over 5k like it sits now..... then we went to the salvage yard in roscommon and seen my rig at 6040 and his at 6900 plus so i could shut the dumb fawker up.
