Bought a regular cab 2000 Ranger a couple weeks ago. Last night after a giant storm, I found water on the driver floor. After looking and studying the door, it looks like the top of the door is closer to the roof than the passenger door. I'm thinking the the rubber along the roof might be worn or smashed, even though I don't see evidence of it. Just that the door doesn't match the other door. Would I be correct in this assumption? I get a wind noise, but can't feel anything while driving unless I slam the door shut.

Thanks,

Dunno. If you have wind noise, that is likely where it is leaking. Take it to an automated car wash or sit in the truck while someone else hits it with a hose and see what you can see. Could also be a bad windsheild seal.

Also, check inside the back of the truck (inside back wall/floor) for water. The most common place for these trucks to leak is through a cracked or broken "third" brake light mounted at the top rear of the cab. Coulda leaked thru it and ran forward.
