Well, hows it going everybody? im just like every other Danger-Ranger kid out there. lets go for starters.. i understand alot about my truck and im a pretty good at fabbing/working on my truck.

1999 Ford Ranger XLT stepside 3.slow V6 5spd bone stock besides CAI and True Duals (From Heads to back)

Wanting to get more Get up and go.. Had been thinking of some plans. main things would be probably re-gearing and Headers.

What are some good options that i could use as well? im mainly wanting to get more of a 0-60...

The Drag strip we have here is a 1/4.. thats what im shoting for.

Underdrive crank pulley and electric fan are a great place to start.

True duals on a 3.0? I saw a quote on someones profile that said true duals on a 3.0 sounds like two 3 bangers fighting eachother. Your probably losing some power because of that exhaust. Other than what froggman said your looking at roller rockers and turboing the motor, and that isn't really cost effective you might as well go find a 5.0 and swap it in there. I know people have done the turbo but its rough on motors that aren't built for it.

save for an engine swap. besides re-gearing for now, you can throw massive amounts of money at a 3.0 and not make enough power to justify the expense.

ive just been thinking of it. also, on my truck with true duals doesnt sound like rice burners. had a little bit of a low low low muscle sound. i put vids up on it in exhaust forum if yall wanna take a look at it. it seems good to me
