Im Going to Build somewhat of a Pre-Runner and I was told to do this to my truck first... Would this work?

6" Skyjacker Suspension Lift Brackets / Pitman Arm
F250 Steel Braided Brake Lines
F250 Shock Mounts
F250 Shocks
Jeep Coil Spings
Stone Crusher Steering
89 Chevy 1500 Leaf Springs

you would be better off getting cut and turned or extended beams, as the lift brackets are a weak point, even with skyjacker parts. I'm not sure the stonecrusher steering works with beams, but a crossover steering works beautifully and you don't necessarily need a drop pitman. on the rear the chevy leafs will work with a shackle flip quite nicely.

And like above 6" might be a little much, but I've seen it done.

You posted this only a few hours ago and bumped two hours later, give it some time man...

Bro, wrong place to post this. Go over to our Prerunner forum and post it. Lots of motor heads there that can help and lots of pictures.....good luck!!

why not just buy a prerunner suspension? just an idea....

6 inches is to high, and with the steering and leaf springs its all about opinion, to build i pre runner essentially you wont want any of your parts. you have an 89 ranger? you don't want the IFS it has, you want different gearing its a huge list. like the guy above said go to a pre runner website

there is nothing wrong with the IFS he has except for its a 4wd. Beams are awesome if you're on a budget.

bro you realize this is the pre-runner sub section? and that most of the people who post in this section are also on pre runner forums?

Mac it just got moved from the General discussion forum. So straycat's remark was OK 2 hours ago.
