Before we begin, Yes I do realize my truck is not a Super Duty or a plow truck, this is simply an aesthetic mod that I really dig on alot of other trucks.

I've mocked the lamps up, so they're not installed, just sitting on the roof in roughly the position I will be installing them...depending on everyone's input!

Please keep in mind I have a "4 lift, tool box and 33's with some nice black bead lock rims all being added next week (so please factor that into the equasion)

Thanks!

I always liked the look of em on some trucks. There's this beefy looking white Ranger that's always at a JY I go to with them. First time I saw it I thought "Damn that's a little fullsize... wait no wonder it looks so small it's a Ranger!"

If you like it, go for it. I think it looks alright.

I personally like em, I think they add a tough look to any truck, big or small. :icon_thumby:

thanks~! I wanted the input of other Ranger owners. All of the mechanics I work with were comparing me to french kids who add Type R stickers to their Civics LoL...most of them drive full size F1's and F2-3's.

The funniest part is watching them roll into work by themselves and the fact that most of them never tow and have a truck that size. Pointless and waste of gas! 25MPG BABY!!!!!!!

One of my friends has a 04 Ram 2500 4x4 Heavy Duty quad cab diesel. He hauls a 36ft 5th wheel camper a couple times a year and thats it. It's gets better mileage than my Ranger...18 mpg. I'd buy a diesel for that reason, and they last forever.

Wow, really? I get 23-25 highway. Awful in the city though.

I don't know. Not really a fan of marker lights but to each his own.

I want one of these...

I'd vote yes for'em. I have them onmy 93 splash with a 4 inch lift and 33's. I think they make my truck look pretty good.

I would have to vote no, but I think it would look better with a lift and bigger tires so do it.

I wouldn't use the ford style lights now if you were to go with a lower sleeker new dodge style with smoked lenses and led lights that would be pretty sweet. Check out Recon and look at the Dodge Clearance lights.

I'd say no. I don't even like them on fullsize trucks, but it's your truck who cares what anyone else thinks.
