V8 swap clutch slave cylinder question

I have gone through quite a few v8 swap forums for the ranger and had an idea I wanted to see if anyone has tried this. I've notice a lot of people do an external slave cylinder on the t5.
Would a slave cylinder from a f250 5 speed trans work?
I have done some research and have found the input shaft sizes between the f250 trans and t5 are similar.

I never thought about the slave from a F250. I did use a clutch master cylinder from a F550 on my V8 Ranger. I used it in conjunction with an external slave and it gave me about 2 - 2 1/2 inches of travel at the clutch fork.

I did find some issues with the f250 slave. The inner bore on the transmission side of the slave is about 1/4 inch too small. But I have done some further research and found a cheap $15 external slave for just about any Toyota pickup that will work.

As for a master I've read in quite a few forums that the factory replacement for a ranger will work so I'm going to attempt to use the one in my truck

If my factory master doesn't produce enough pressure I may look into using a f350 and up master. Thanks for the idea. I originally didn't understand why so many people that did v8 swaps on rangers didn't keep a cable clutch until I attempted it which turned into a nightmare.
