I'm not entirely sure, but if memory serves, some older light plants, etc came with smaller diesels. Can't remember if they're twins or 3cyl. Bobby would know more, as I consider diesels to be witchcraft and borderline demonic. And uh... I don't mess with witchcraft.

I always thought it would be neat to use a engine from a semi refrigerated trailer. Dont know much about them and have only ever seen 1. Build my own “gator” or something.

Yeah, I have seen them and should have bought the one I saw. They’re Yanmar 3cyl mechanical diesels, I think the newer ones are electronic.
