Thank you my friend. In a sense, he was family. The knowledgable crazy uncle who you love to death.

I guess God finally said "Your work here is done. Time for you to come home."

It's gonna be a rough week. The service is on Friday.

Like I said before, have a few colds and celebrate his life/memory. It will be rough that is for sure.

Just got info on his services. He'll be buried with honors at the NH Veterans Cemetary.

An quick update:

My friend was buried (with honors and a 21-gun salture befitting a Marine) yesterday at the NH Vet's Cemertary in Boscawan, NH.

I'll leave it at this: The true measure of a man is not by the money or power he has, but by all the lives he has touched in signifigant ways, both large and small.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers guys.
He was a diehard bowtie guy, and used to rag on me & some other of our friends who owned Fords. Yet, despite all that ribbing, if you needed help with a problem, be it three in the afternoon or three in the morning, he'd do what he could to help.

For the record, he didn't rod his truck, but a pure resto. He even went so far as to find a new engine block that was made in the same month as the old one. I remember stopping buy while he was rebuilding the transmission one day. The feel and the herf of the old stright-cut gears was amazingly cool.

Yes, he's probable crusing right now, with his favorite dogs at his side.

I'm gonna miss that crazy SOB.
