put some big flat washers under the seat rail.....and umm good luck.

for mounting?

for mounting?

he's saying put washers under your seat mounts to give you some extra clearance to be able to put a 10" sub there...

i'd say you'd be better off trying to go with a 6.5" or 8" woofer... the mounting depth will be significantly reduced, giving you a better chance of actually getting the correct air space requirements as set forth by the manufacturer, thus making you happier with the response that the woofer can put out for you.

hahah okay, dont think I will do that, unless I have no choice.

you dont really. this has been looked at and pondered over for a long time. can you yes. but its gonna take alot of work/ custom parts and your going to lose alot to get it. like movement of the seat. head room ect.

during my first look last week, looks like if i actually mount it to the seat, i will not lose the movement, that being said, I am ready to do the work, i gutted the entire interior of my old honda accord to sound proof it .. this should be less man hours,..

thinking of using some type of hard wood instead of fiberboard, and the spray on rubber instead of carpet..

save some space, little theft protection.

If you're that concerned I'd put them inside the jumper seat pockets, I'm sure plenty of people can give you info on that.

i have a standard cab, not to be a dick or anything but I'm going to keep this thread about doing an underseat install.

You have spring/ cables under your seat you would have to deal with. But if you take theseat off the rails. And you can take measurements of tge space you have to work with depending on the space you might have to remake seat rails. You might not have enuff space across the rails to fit anything.

yeah i am starting to reconsider.. 12inches will will be hard to get in there, my ranger is no porn star..
