Under-hood light stopped working.

Yeah, I know. It's a little thing...but it keeps me outta trouble.
The plug-in connector was corroded. One wire just came loose from the plug. As I was cleaning the ends of the wires they touched and shorted. Now I'm getting weird voltage readings. I've checked the fuses and all seem to be okay. The 94 Body wiring diagram doesn't call out the under-hood light specifically, but I assume it is probably included in the circuit for the dome and cargo lamps. Is there a fusible link somewhere?

Anyone have any ideas?

My 86 underhood light powers up from the dome lamp fuse... hot at all times. I suspect it is probably the same place on your 94... so look at the schematic that shows door jamb switches etc...

My fuse box diagram shows #13 as a 10A for Instrumentation Illumination and Interior Lights. Oddly enough, the circuit diagram for 94 Body Wiring in my Haynes book leaves #13 blank - no connections.

i'm prolly heading to the U-pull today as they just received a 94 Splash in yesterday. I'll be looking the connector and the light assembly if it's still intact, plus whatever else I can easily get at.
