Type F or is there a better PS fluid?

Putting in a new power steering pump and used steering box. The previous one whined loud as hell so I'm hoping this one is quieter. Should I use type F as suggested or is there a better fluid?

Use what the book calls for, be sure to turn it lock to lock several times to get the air bled out of the system.

i have heard that putting some friction modifier in with the fluid helps quiet them down some, not sure how true that is or not

The big thing is getting the air out of the system. Otherwise the pump will score and you have a whiner forever and ever.

Go by this attachment & it should take care of the whine. It did for me.
