I picked an 86 TWN B2 last week. It appears to be ridiculously rare, and impossible to find information. It was designed to promote the winter Olympics I believe, and has autographed (twin downhill medalists Phil & Steve Mahre) door panels and spare tire cover. It's sat for 20 years, but is in solid shape. 1 owner, all original. I'm just hoping somebody has one, or has pictures of their old one. I want to build it right.

There were no winter olympics in 1986....it ran in 1984 and in 1988.
You might have one that was made up by a dealer, or possibly was autographed by the skiers for the original owner.
Best bet is to see if you can locate/find the original owner and see how the signatures got there.

:worthless:

If it was actually built by Ford, it would be easy to find info on it.

The original owner is deceased, and correct on the winter games. I was able to contact the brothers themselves, and they said about 600 were made if they remember correctly. They don't have one, and don't have pictures either.

Never heard of it.

Let's see photos of what you have?

The door placards look like some kid in Jr high shop class made them, but they're old and fixable.

Their both still alive and kickin.....why not try to contact them and see what they remember.
Send them a photo of yours....who knows, maybe they'll sign some new plackards for your Bronco ll.

I have, and they're relatively close. They just don't have pictures, and I try not to bother them too much. Once I'm at the point of putting the interior back in, I'll probably ask though.

The Olympics are boring. Paint over all that nonsense with some sweet airbrush art of a topless barbarian woman riding a unicorn and swinging a burning skull. Then you'll have something of value!
