Like the title says my turn signal/reverse light fuse is blowing as soon as
I turn the key. Been like this since my dad bought the truck 3 years ago ('90 Ranger) now that I bought it from him it's time to fix all the problems.

I've unplugged the connectors at the back of the truck where the main harness goes into the tailights/reverse lights to try to isolate the wiring and it still blows the fuse. Unplugged the main harness from the connectors in the fenderwell tried a new fuse again and still pops the fuse. I've swapped the multi-function switch and still the problem persists.

My hazard lights still work, so that almost leads me to beleive the wiring going to the turn signal sockets are good. I've been searching for a break in the wiring somewhere or a non insulating part grounding against the body somewhere but have come up with nothing. Anyone ever have a similar issue?

Check this diagram for help.
