I've been trying to find a reasonably priced Marlin Papoose doesn't need to be new, just have the original red marlin case, original magazine, barrel tool, etc. Possibly the .22lr scope. If anyone knows of one for sale somewhere reasonably please let me know. Trying to replace one I had to sell due to job loss to get money for bills.

Thanks,
Bill

Check armslist.com and shows if you can. There's also Facebook pages that are classifieds for gun sales in your region if you're on Facebook.

My buddy's dad picked up one exactly like you mentioned for 200 at a show last year.

They're still available if you look around.

Thanks, I've been searching everywhere, haven't gone to any gun shows because they are going on when I am at work, and by the time I get off work and would drive over to them they would be closed for the night.

I've got several notices floating around places in town, online, etc. So far I haven't got any results. Everything I keep finding on gun sights are outrageously priced $400+ price range. I'm not going to give up until I find one.

I'm always looking for stuff, If I run across anything, I'll let you know.

I should have took pictures but it didn't occur to me. I was at the local gun show here and I saw one for $250 without a scope, I don't know if that's really reasonably priced.

Not a bad price, however these dang pawn shops will only give you $100-125 for one. So really they aren't worth much, just lack of availability makes the price go through the roof.
