I started a stock floor body drop on my 2005 3.0 v6 ranger 3 weeks ago. EVERYTHING was taken apart, new frame was made and the truck was reassembled. I checked every connection plug harness everything is connected except for the rear tailights. I have no fluids in the truck with the exception of engine oil at the moment. I dont want to run the engine i just want it to crank. I can jump the started and the engine will crank with the battery installed but wont fire. When the battery is in Only the headlights/brake lights and horn work NOTHING else i checked every connection every ground. I elimnated the charcoal canister when i did the swap, however i dont think that is the problem, the ecu was disconnected from the truck, is there some sort of anti theft that is stopping it from doing..... well...... anything. If you turn the key all the way foward you can hear the switch click from under the coloumn. Sometimes not all the time when i connect the battery the fusebox that is in the interior of the truck by the passengers feet will click rapidly. Doors dont ding when open no dome light. Im trying to get the truck finished for a car show this sunday so any suggestions would help, The battery has a full charge, I dont know if the ecu is shot or if the fuse box thing took a crap on me.... anyone have an issue like this b4?

Thanks jake............

Did you check your fuse boxes (one under the hood and one in the cab). Might be a blown fuse or a couple of 'em.

Do you have all the ground straps in place? If you're missing a ground strap to the motor, frame or body, you'll have that problem too.
