? truck of the month

Curious...I've seen the "off road truck of the month" and "street truck of the month". Why not a "work truck of the month" or "camping/bug out truck of the month" etc? Just because we haven't done a SAS on our rig, lifted it with huge tires doesn't mean that some of our rigs haven't been uniquely modified for different uses. I'm not speaking for myself really (stock truck) or that a prize needs to be handed out... but it's just nice to see other modified rigs out there used for different purposes. Just a suggestion.

It seems hard enough to get participation in the 2 categories we have, which are the 2 most common. To me a camping truck would fall into the off-road category, but I know it wouldn't get the attention it deserves next to some of the more heavily modified wheelers.

Good idea...I use my truck regularly for hauling stuff and have a modified headache rack for keeping ladders and stuff off my roof...it's an old farm fence cut in half...I even used the old hardware to keep the cross bar in place...

However, my truck would only qualify for "UGLY" truck of the month...it has gotten a bit of a makeover with a new rear wheel opening panel, but it is still four different colours and deperately in need of a more powerful engine...

Still a good idea...I've seen some very nicely outfitted trucks over the years...and a Ranger with a custom built bed that looked really good...

This has been brought up before a few time...if you use the Search function you should see some post on it. Somebody even wanted a 'Redneck Truck of the Month'.....lol

only one I could see added would be "DD truck of the month" but those really fall into either offroad or onroad.. mine is a DD, offroad built truck.. just not as built as others and it keeps me out of it. Which is fine by me.

We need more involvement in it!!!
