Truck got wrecked

First one doesn't count as it for sure has manual mirrors, and the one interior shot shows no power locks. While I don't see a hand crank, I also don't see window switches (and I think I see a hole for a crank handle?). Also, it's ambiguous on whether or not it has a sliding rear window. Nice try.

BUT

The second one is worthy of two cookies, one for meeting everything, and one for being a 1996. Nice truck indeed *drool*. Too much money for my budget, but hey, that makes the one I'm going to look at even more of a steal (if all is good).

If I'm ever your way I owe you cookies (and maybe dinner too, I'm not that way often :( ).

I am not much of an expert on third gens, couldn't tell if there were buttons on the black trim in the kinda cruddy pic or not. Could be a shadow from the steering wheel or a window crank too.

But it has a V8 :3gears:

Rat Dude,

2001 w/ 4 cyl and auto... has sliding rear window but probably does not have power in the doors... looks fairly basic.

1999 w/ 3.0 and 4x4... looks pretty nice, but the doors do not have power that I can see :(

Most of what I saw with a long bed were pretty stripped down/ basic rangers. not many with auto transmissions let alone power doors :(

AJ

Yeah that's what I was finding. Even xlts were barebones other wise.

Nice toy, that is. My concern would be why they would be selling it so cheap... Mods are nice only if they're done properly. Done wrong, you can very quickly turn a nice truck into a parts truck. Especially if you're lowering a TIB...

Looking for a daily driver here... Long distance trips too. Already have trips to London, ON and STL planned this spring, and maybe a trip to New England this Summer, all originally slated for my ranger.

Tomorrow is the big day... here goes nothing.

If that doesn't work out, the guy with the purple one (4.0 with the rareish 1998 only rims) finally replied (bad cell phone now fixed he says). It has power doors, so if the one in IL is a no go, I have a backup plan. I think the 1995 one looks more viable as the purple one has been beat around a little (not a lot) and has an asking price $600 more (not to mention I like the serviceability of TIB). But, the 1998 would have a 5r55e in it and a slightly nicer version of the 4.0... and those rims are pretty cool (and I thought my rims were nice)... odd, yes, but IMHO still cool.

I have options...

Bought the 1995. New thread coming...

Oh, that doesn't look too good. I hope you can get her fixed up again.
