Truck dies while driving

Been driving it to work and haven't had any problems. Seems to be getting back to running as it used to at least. My brother said something about the computer might have to "relearn" or something after replacing the ignition module (TFI).

Wish I had the time, I'd just put a new engine in the truck..

I do realize I'm about a month late to this thread, and thought I'd chime in on the mystery red wire. I have one on mine as well, and it's definitely not factory. Mine is connected directly to the battery, but essentially the same as connecting it to the battery post on the starter relay. It also seems to weave through everything in the back of the engine compartment until I lose it somewhere by the brake master cylinder. It goes somewhere, and won't just pull out. Hasn't cause any problems that I know of for the 10 years I've had the truck.

I've had stalling problems for quite some time, and pulled the fuse in that red wire and it made no difference. Only thing I can think it might go to would be the secondary tank. Pump still turns on, but I'm not sure if the valve between the two tanks operates.

As for my stalling issues, replaced/cleaned everything, even new relays, but no MAP. Everything made it work a little better, but never fixed the stalling. Now it won't start, but a new MAP is on the way.
