I installed an electric radiator fan in my Mazda b3000. Right now I have it running constantly when the vehicle is on. I had it wired to thermostat switch but it doesn’t turn on when the AC is on so that causes a problem with the AC pressure getting too high and possibly blowing the seal on the compressor. I’ve been doing research and found that I need to get a trinary switch. Has anyone ever installed a Trinary switch before? I can see that they have female and male primary switches to connect to either the dryer or somewhere else. Does anybody know a specific trinary switch that will fit.

not me. i have never even heard of that

It is a switch for your AC. You actually hook it up to wherever your high low switches. Mine is actually on the dryer I think or it’s called the accumulator. Anyways, it’s a three wire switch that allows your fan to turn on when the AC compressor is on. It seems that is the only way you can have a temperature switch and have it turned on with the AC compressor is on.
