My credo
The perfect is the enemy of the good.
Looks ok, would be better in RED. I don't know much about them, just not common here. Seems to me mostly it had to do with the stereo. I prefer Supercab and longer bed. This doesn't look like it would be any better at 4x4 than mine except it maybe has the lockers.
Not sure what's going on at the front if there is hidden winch or what. Maybe the bull bar is just cosmetic.
Just snapped it in case anyone loves Tremors.

The bar appears to be the typical light duty, under the bumper mount style. I can’t say I’m a fan of the bar design.

I do believe you are correct that the Tremor package has a focus on audio equipment.

The Tremor package used to be audio related - on the early 2000's Rangers I believe?

It is now an offroad oriented package. I did a bunch of research on that for the Maverick trucks... In my mind it is more "functional" than the FX4 package but less "fancy" if that makes sense.

I'm gonna have a Maverick Tremor........................ I just wish they built them in Alto Blue :cry::cry:

Yup, used to be an audio package in the like 04-08 Rangers. I have one of the pioneer sub enclosures with the Tremor logo/cover on it

The big deal about the tremors nowadays is they come "leveled" an inch, fox shocks, slightly bigger tire, and have upfitter switches ready to hook your offroad lights and whatever else to right from the factory.. locker and skids too I believe.

Can't forget the gaudy grill accents either 🤢

^^What he said.

They also come with taller tires that cut into the gas mileage.

Which also helps keep rocks from cutting into the rocker panels.

Tires only .7" bigger diameter than 265/75R15 so .35" more clearance
that's something, but not tons
assuming other things equal like distance to diff's etc
I'm comparing '97 to the new one

Many Tremor owners remove or replace the "crash bars" to be able to install taller tires. That gives more clearance and less gas mileage.

They have modified crash bars, at least in the aftermarket that offer similar without compromising the crash integrity of the Ranger. To each their own on if they want to get them or not. But they are out there now if people want them.

That is what I was referring to when I said replace, but I wasn't clear on that. Thank you for clarifying.
