I get home from work today and my treadwrights are sitting on my porch. Extremely fast delivery. I ordered them on tuesday and it is only friday. Very reasonable shipping also, Approximately $65 to have 4 tires shipped from South Dakota to Illinois.

These are the 215/85R16 Crawler M/t Treadwright tires. They have 16/32 of tread. Pretty good looking tire if you ask me.

I will be posting here saying what I think about them as I accumulate more miles. I hope the coil spacers and rear blocks are enough to clear these things!

For retreads they are really nice!!! You need some lift there, Bro, lol.
What kind of warranty do they give for the tires? I only bought one set of retreads for my sister's Baja bug I built for her and she had one blow out on her and it almost caused her to flip off an interstate. That was some time back so I know they are better made now then they used to be.

I dont know the warranty on them, havnt read it yet (whoops.)

But i knew i was gonna need some lift. I got 3" coil spacers for up front. and a fellow member is selling me some 2.5" factory rear blocks. Hopefully its enough! Or else I might have to buy a PA 2" body lift *gasp* ohh no:icon_thumby:

they look really nice!
cant wait to see em on the truck

i thought ur truck was the red one on your avatar?
or the gold one in the pics?

HA! i wish i still had the red one:sad:

But its the gold one. Never got around to changing the avatar. I tried once.. and failed. Never tried again. I should probably do that. ehh, Ill wait til the new stuff is on :icon_bounceblue:

look pretty nice, i might get a set for the 86 at some point......but im poor right now :bawling: Ive spent too much money in the past week my girlfriend will start selling my body parts off to recoupe the money if i dont stop :shok:

so are they mounted yet?? lol
i think i'm gonna get treadwrights and try them out when i'm ready to buy tires.

They are not mounted yet. Dont know when they will be either. I primed the 4th wheel theyll be mounted on tonight. I got some stock teardrop wheels and did some custom paintin on them. The Auto's class at my local high school does work for really cheap so I think im gonna wait 2 weeks for the school to start up. I talked to the instructor already and they will mount and balance my tires, install my rear blocks, install my coil spacers, and align my front end.... for only the cost of the wheel weights. since I have all the materials already. Seems like a good deal to me, and Its helping other people get some learning in.

Those are sick tires man! :icon_thumby:
I just put some 30x9.5x15 tires on my 95 and cleared them with no rub at all, i'd bet you could pull those off with no lift, but the lift would definately give it a more aggresive off road look. I'll be adding some coil spacers on my rig soon :icon_hornsup:

It would be absolutely STUFFED with no coil spacers. But they would go. Dunno how turning would be.
