transmission question

i like the look of long tube headers and i havent found any one that makes them for a v8 swap.. i can weld and wonder if it would be hard to make a set the goes around the frame on both sides. i kno i would prolly have to make them to where the steering shaft goes between the tubes or something.

Here is a pic of good tranny fluid along with burnt fluid.

If you can make your own "fenderwell" headers that would be the way to go. Easier to run your exhaust without interference from fuel tank.

yea and the custom headers would be cool goin around the frame rails. and i plan on putting a fuel cell where the spare tire went i have to find a way to route the filler neck

I have seen pics of the cell under the bed, with a little trap door in the floor for refueling. I wish i could remember what member has this set up.

i wonder if i could find a set of flanges so i could try and make my own. or i could buy a DIY header kit
