2.3L ('02-'11) Transmission changes

Ok so here's my dilemma. I have a 2005 with a 3.2L 5 speed manual transmission but the body is ruined. I also have a 2003 with a ruined 4.0L motor with an automatic transmission. Is it possible to do just an engine swap or am I going to have to switch out everything?. Cluch peddle included

Have you looked to see if there is a clutch pedal bracket in the one you want to use it in ?

you cannot mix 2.3 with 4.0
the bolt pattern is different where the transmission attaches to the engine.

There's an adapter plate you can get to make it work but I'm wondering if the smaller motor will work with the gear ratio of the automatic transmission
