i have a 94 ranger with the 4.0 and The Mazda M5OD-R1 transmission. I replaced the clutch and there for had to take off the transmission anyways the bolts that go back on the the transmission are two different sizes does anyone know where the longer ones go?? I am thinking they go where the starter connects to the transmission in that slot?

The longest bolts go in the bottom position
(from the bellhousing to the oil pan)

Next longest go at 3 O'Clock and 9 O'Clock

the four next shorter ones go at 1 & 11 and 10 & 2

The shortest ones of all hold the starter to the bellhousing.
the "double ended bolt" (the one with the stud end) is the bottom starter bolt.

Generally with Fords the longest bolts go in the holes with the dowel pins, one per side.
