I am losing tranny fluid from the transfer case but I cant figure out where. There is no fluid on the surrounding areas of the case, none on the floor of the truck or on the case. The shaft that connects to the case is where the fluid is pooling to and dripping from.

anyone run across this?

I put fluid back in it cause it was way low but after a week it was low again, its a pretty aggressive drip.. Is there a gasket that connects to that shaft?

Like i said there is no visible signs of fluid being slung that I can see.

seriously? I posted this in 2 forums and nothing?

No one has any idea why the fluid dripping from the connecting shaft that goes ito the front of the transfer case?

There is a little like tube that sticks our the top i think is a bleeder line? there is fluid on that but the hose isnt even open, so i have no idea how that is happening.

the rear output seal is what seems to be the issue with the leaking tranny fluid. Has anyone changed this before can give some tips?

Do i need to apply grease or anything to the seal when I change it?
