tractor shows are back!


there was a “early” series of the 4000 and a later series, the mid sixties versions were different from the ones in the early 70’s. I know very little about the other later series.

They have a 3cyl.
 
Oh, yours is the 4 cylinder? The displacements you were talking about sounded familiar so I started blabbing... yeah the 4 cylinders are different, I think even the trans and rear axles are different.

I still stand by they are good tractors and you aren't doing it all day every day, you aren't likely going to break it in a minute... my brother has been beating on his Ford tractors for years with minor upkeep other than adding fluids occasionally when he remembers (some leak a lot, they were cheap for a reason, but but they do a lot of work and fluid is cheaper than downtime :))
