What is it? I don't see anything.
Make it real then!
dont you mean damn new yotas and their drive by wire crap
That's damn funny.
Google Ranger throttle sticking and Ford throttle sticking too. There's been plenty of trouble with throttles sticking that aren't Toyotas. In general, I'm against throttles sticking. but right now, Japan is selling off their USA debt and that has our leadership pissed and angry and scared so they are lashing out at japan's leadership with this thing. China is also divesting themselves of us, so expect some more lead paint to be found in Chinese manufactured toys and more formaldehyde in Chinese manufactured wall board. We'll show those bastards that there are worse things than owning our rotten debt.
I've never had my gas pedal stick, but the other day I was workin under my dash and had taken the floor mat out so I wouldn't get mud all over my back. When I put it back in, I put it just in the right spot so when I tried to let my clutch out to back out of the garage it got stuck behind the floormat. After shoving it in and trying to move it with my foot it finally popped out and my truck stalled out. Then I started it up again and the same thing happened I was convinved my clutch must have been shot since its never been replacedFinally I realized it was the mat and breathed a sigh of relief. Stupid walmart floormats lol.
I have 3 ranger 93,94,05 and know tons of people with them and have never ever heard of a ford gas pedal sticking let alone ever read it online, i call bullshit, i also think you own a toy.
There are over 100 years worth of throttle cables and linkages to gum up, wear out, and all around stick. Not accelerate and fight back when you push on the brake. One lady drug her back tires for quite awhile to her death with the E-brake on.
Most of the stuff out there on google or anywhere else for Ford is for used cars, and considering how much the throttle is used there are going to occasionally be problems... but there shouldn't be with new cars.
The F-150 have had drive by wire since '04, Mustang since '05, and they are not the only Fords out there that use it. It can't be too bad if designed right, the F-16 has been fly by wire since the mid 70's.
