i just recently installed the torsion keys in my ranger, im thinkin of ditching them is cranking the bars any different?

Horrible mistake...read the 4x4 section for torsion key information...

And to answer your question, cranking the bars won't hurt so bad, and it does the same thing...

The torsion keys were the mistake.

As Bill Ayers would say, you did the Wallet Weight Reduction mod.

yea thought so, probably wasnt a coincedence the next day they told me my balljoints were shot

Yes and no. They MAY have been shot before they put them in, but that's a common problem with torsion keys. Ball joints tend to wear out faster with them installed.

do you just have the bars cranked in your truck? i know it stiffens the ride, and they would sag over time

I haven't cranked them in this truck. I had them cranked on my old 99 4x4 though. I turned them up about 1" and did an alignment afterwards.

yea these keys are messing things up i think, ive had them in for maybe 2 months, and the ball joints have bin replaced and its still pulling me to the left

yes, it all got done, its not an aggresive pull like it was before the balljoints were replaced, but its still drifting

well i think im gunna ditch the keys, try to sell them and crank the bars. good waste of a few hundred bucks,

That's exactly what they are. Did you search on here before you bought them or did you already have them when you found the site?

I go to school with a boy who has some in his truck and he claims it "doesn't ride rough". I laughed and told him he should have cranked the torsion bars.

i researched them a bit, im more concerned about destroying parts then the comfort of the ride anyway
