I might be getting a 3" BL to add to my 2" suspension and am thinking about 35s. My biggest concern is the front suspension handling 35 inch meats. I offroad maybe once a month or two and work the suspension pretty good on those outings. Other than that it stays on the street 90% of the time. I've got the 4.0L SOHC and 4.10s 8.8 rear. Any opinions on it? Thanks all

You'd probably want taller gears like 4.56 or even 4.88 but as long as you don't have a locker in your front axle it should handle 35's fine....

I wouldn't recommend it, but some here do get away with 35s on the IFS. Keep your wheel offset to a minimum to help prolong the lifespan of your wheelbearings (standard 15x8 wheels are generally good)

Yes, your 4.0 needs 4.88 gears for 35s.

I am running 32's on 15x10's with a 4 inch backspace. I'm gonna be upgrading to 35's once I find a deal on a set. I also have to correct the negative camber on the front wheels too.

I agree with Junkie, adding to keep an eye on the tie rod ends as well and keep a spare halfshaft and be able to change it in the woods, or at least have a way out in 2wd if needed. Stay easy on the skinny pedal and it should be okay.
The 98+ front end isn't all that strong and not real happy with tires larger than 33".
