Todays weather

-10 with -33 windchill back home. I’m pulling for all you guys up north. Dad said his fingers still got chilled in spite of heated gloves and heated grips on the blower.

70.5 here according to my weather station. This time of year I’m not missing home too bad. We visited a garden society place today and they were bringing in all their orchids before the cold front gets here.

The low was 41°, the high so far was 45° late this afternoon before dropping to 42°, but slightly milder temperatures came in with some light rain and it is now back up to 45°. So, the high temperature might end up occurring just before midnight, which seems to be a thing here this winter. Anyway, a weak flow from the southwest will occur over the weekend which might bring the temperatures up to near 60° in the afternoon if the fog clears.

6 am. -2. wind howling out of the west at 26 mph. snow but hard to say how much, its a foot deep in some spots. Had to carry the dog out, she needed to go but couldnt bring herself to walk out the door. Cant say I blame her. Hard to see out the windows since we got rain before it turned to snow.

The mess is just getting here. It was 41 degrees when I drive to work this morning. Currently mid twenties. At least we’re not supposed to get an precipitation.

Glad we drove in last night. I’m also glad that the rain stopped on the way in and the truck had a chance to dry. So theoretically, all I have is snow to deal with and not ice.

-3 currently, plenty of wind.

going out to feed the squirrels & birds in a few minutes. critters gotta eat too.

No idea on the snow at the moment. It looks like maybe an inch but with the way the wind is whipping, it’s hard to tell. Forecast says 6-9” over the weekend but we’ll see. I’ll take 6-9” over the typical snow dump other locations get.
