I just watched the local forecast. My area is only supposed to get about 4 inches total by Friday morning. Cold temperatures are far more brutal...

It's supposed to be a low of 16° Friday night with a chance of snow Thurs-Fri and again on Monday. I know it's nothing like what the guys up north are in for, but still...

Might get 2-5 inches of snow this weekend here in my part of ohio. Brought the 3-point blade closer to the house & moved the box trailer to the west side of the chicken kennel to act as a buffer from any high west moving winds. Have extra gas for the generator and plenty of food if things get crazy with wind & snow. Ordered some dvd’s last week to watch. dirty mary/crazy larry, vanishing point, the original (74?) gone in 60 seconds, nick cage remake of same (directors cut version) and 70% tank of propane. Wish I was off work until jan 2 but only off for mon after christmas and new years day. Going to get pretty cold for a bit.

50*F and pouring rain, supposed to keep raining until tomorrow night, at that point it should drop down to 5*F and stay below 20*F for a few days.

It was a cold MFer last night and then this morning the wind came up...stay out of South Dakota if you can.

I got an email from the gas company saying that they are having equipment problems and are requesting everyone cut way back on their gas use. I may have to invest in a wood stove for the house although I'm not sure where to put it.
