ur kidding right..... as i understood it they arent allowed to run tags on a vehicle on private property in any state

I'm really not sure. There have been a few occasions where someone high up got a bug up their ass and decided to tag all the cars in my old neighborhood that had old plates on them as abandoned. As you can imagine this caused quite a stir. Most of these were parked in people's driveways, yards, etc. and not anywhere near the street.

Haha, one guy across the street got plates for all his junk and nailed them up on little posts next to each car. I wish I had a pic of it.

Sorry to hijack your thread man, just had to comment about that.

Sounds priceless. And no problem.

Also, I have decided to keep the truck.
At least until I cant afford the gas. But by then I would be able to purchase a beater civic.

My $.02, finally!

phew! Alright, good choice. I just want to make a few points. I was looking at getting a car for better mileage, but I also like F150's - compromise: keep my Ranger. I know the history, with another used car, I could be buying some else's headache.
As far as gas, I was riding the bus/walking/and biking alot til recently, and that helped. Now that it's been over 100F, I spent almost 60 bucks on gas, just this week.
Anyway, I was wondering what's your work truck, do you pay for fuel? You say you could use the Ranger, that might help cut expenses.

Work trucks an '87 Dodge Ram 4x4. Gets about 10 miles to the gallon, usually less. We have to pay for gas but we mainly use it for heavier loads, that the ranger cant handle. Otherwise the buyer would have to send a truck to pick up the stone, and in this business we pay the shipping.
