I was thinkin for a ranger but i want to be able to open a topper door without opening the gate so its just an idea and not correct dimensions. I got one like it on my cherokee but no good pics and its not done yet anyway. Eventually wanted to cut the lower fenders and add those peices but prolly get a ranger and build it and just drive the jeep to death and then some more :headbang: Im working on a cool front design like yours but not tube.

That looks pretty good. I saw one just like that recently...can't remember where. I'm thinking of doing something similar if I ever get my act together. I was thinking of making the tire sit lower so it's easier to see over (have the swing-out bar in front of the bumper instead of over the bumper).

yeah i was thinkin maybe the same thing. but tend to back into things so maybe a gaurd for the tire like the one jester posted. I would just run a spare on the roofrack on the topper but i want two spares for when i drive to alaska

plan on making the Alcan hiway run myself once i retire next year maybe. how soon you leaving? would be better driving it with another rbv!

ha that would be sooooo cool but i dont even have my ranger yet  but as soon as i get home from school im getting one and I think im planning for about the whole month of august if i can save up the cash and still have some left over for school. If it dont work out this year we should set up a Ranger Station road trip. That would be epic :headbang:

im thinking about driving up to alaska when im done with school as well, ive only been there on a boat

the alcan has gotta better over the years, seen more windshields survive lately....gas is the killer
