Does anyone know the Moog part # for the drivers side tie rod? I have found the Drag link or (right side tie rod)and the outer Lt and Rt tie rod ends but cannot seem to find the Moog (even on their site) drivers side tie rod. That is the left side inner tie rod end.

RockAuto is good for looking up stuff like that. According to their listing you are looking for Moog P/N: ES2215L

Thanks for your reply, but that is the left outer tie rod end. Went to Rockauto searched and did not find the Moog left inner tie rod end. Mevotech has it MDS1141, I was trying to replace it all with Moog. Can't seem to find the Moog number.

Then you might be SOL. Moog isn't what it used to be anyway. These days much of it comes off the same assembly lines as many lesser known brands.

Ok, good to know. So I guess trying to buy a Name brand hoping for higher quality quality is a waste of time and money. Thanks

You can try. They still have some stuff made here, but a lot of it is now made in China, or Mexico, or etc.

I haven't heard of any issues with Mevotech, but I also haven't bought any of it myself. The outer rod ends are the ones that take the real abuse.

Might investigate the differences between 83-88 and 89-97 steering systems. All Moog parts are available for the latter. They weren't exactly the same, but very similar steering systems. Might be that you could use the later model tie rod components with the earlier steering box and knuckles.

If you go with Mevotech, make sure you get the TTX line. Shops have reported that the cheaper line isn't any better than what Moog has become.

Just stopped to say I've mixed and matched some Mevotech and Moog. I can't tell them apart externally. I have no way of testing metallurgy or anything like that obviously.
