I finished my swap (or thought I did) and found that I may have gotten the wrong slave throw out bearing combo? the clutch disengages well but when I hold the clutch all the way in it makes a not ok rattle or light grinding noise. when I do not depress it all the way it works fine. I thought I got a 93 M5OD trans (not positive the year as was a jy unit) and got that year clutch set but I think maybe the 91 4.0 I bolted it to may require a different one? Anyone know what I may have done wrong?

Also forgot to mention that I used the 88 master and that may be the problem?

Got it figured out, 88 master throw is too much, so after bleeding and a trans tech telling me the bearing was bad I limited the travel of the pedal and the clutch works perfectly.

Where'd you find that info? I'd like to read it myself.

I just figured it out by limiting the travel of the pedal and no "rattle" but perfect clutch disengagement.
