I love the zip-tie mod, I do it to my customer's trucks when they get a tune-up. Makes them not regret spending all that money, because it drives so much better.

Just wanted to post back and say thanks for the links to this simple and great mod...applied it today on my 93 XLT after finding at least 3/4 of an inch of slack in the cable behind the gas pedal. Two blue zip ties took care of it and makes the little 3.0 engine much quicker in response...I can almost peel out, but then again the pavement is damp today and my rear rubber is thin. Thanks again.
