So I just got back from a trip to Australia yesterday. While I was there (in Adelaide, a medium-sized city in South Australia), I spied some tasty Rangers and other Fords. I'll tease you with this:

Yes, it's a full 4-door, with a 3.0 turbo-diesel. Sorry, you can't get those things stateside!

The exterior is kind of plain-jane, but inside looks pretty nice:

Besides the 4-doors, you can get a Ranger with a utility bed, or a "tray," as they call it there:

And if that doesn't catch your fancy, you can always get a Ford Falcon "Ute," AKA a Ranchero, with a straight-six and a truck bed:

Ford of Australia has been building the Falcon for 50 years now: 1960-2010. Dream on, wankers!

i would kill for a new falcon. There used to be a poster of one at the branch of ford dad worked at in dearborn and everytime i would walk buy it dad had to stop me from trying to steal it lol

Ps mostly cause the first car i bought was a falcon, but i think theyre pretty bitchin anyways

I'm sorry, but if I had my pick of what I could get from Australia it'd be a Landcruiser 78...

i'd take a turbo diesel ranger anyday if i ever got the chance. i'd want something larger than a 3.0L though.

That ranger is nice and all, but get rid of that gay console shifter, put it back on the column where it belongs.

I'll take one of each please. A Falcon Ute with a 5.0 would be fun.

I don't think you understand this I6...

There was a Video on Youtube (I can't find it, I gotta leave for work) with one making somewhere over the 1,000 HP mark. These suckers can make a ton of power, and do make a ton of power right from the factory.

Wonder what the Persuit would look like in an extended cab? That looks sweet to me, wish they sold them here.
