Thinking about a Pug.

I'll never succumb to apartment life. Paying for something your never going to own doesn't make sense to me. I would go for a rent to own on a crappy trailer way before I would get a decent apartment. And before anyone says that I'll have to someday, I can live at home with my parents until I have enough money for a down payment on a place to live or a "rent to own" home. I plan on moving out as soon as it's economically possible, though.

then get a heeler, they are relatively small..... 30 - 40 pounds, and like all shepards ....... extremely protective of their family..... they will even nip at the heels of the family kids to "herd" them back to the house.

get a boston terrier .. ive had both and still have the boston terrier right now

i want those puppies in your avatar:drool:

i was the same way........now i pay $450 at the end of every month.....

Lancashire or Blue? I've seen both in my area.

Do you know if there's any (general, not specific) behavioral differences between the two? or is it just color patterns?

boobies ....... its whats for dinner .......

I'm not a big fan of German shepherds... My friend has a really nice one but all the ones that came into the kennel I worked at for a year were skiddish and not afraid to bite. In fact the pitbulls were much better behaved.

as far as I know it is just the color on the heelers........... they could come out either, just because you have 2 blue parents doesn't mean you wont get a red pup.

Now there are temperament and hearding differences between aussie cattle dogs and Heelers ........... cattle dogs herd from the head and healers heard from the heel ........ other than that they are the same breed but only the Aussie is reconized as the true breed, Heelers had something else introduced into the blood line to get the heeling abaility.

unfortunatly not for me this weekend:bawling: (see "working for the weekend thread" lol)

ok back on the topic......mmmmm boobies.....ehemm..sorry

i was watchin this show on animal planet, i dk like a month ago or so, called dog 101, they showed a shitload of dogs and after watching it i narrowed down to a few choices of a dog that id like to get. 1. labridore (sp?) retriever, 2. doberman pincher (my friends brother has one and its one of the nicest sumbitch's ive petted lol) 3. MinPin (minature pincher, like 20-30lbs or so) 4. pitbull

my girlfriend wants either a minature chihuahua (3lbs full grown), or a grate dane, quite the differential eh?

Labs, best dogs, hands down.........just make sure you can afford LOTS of dog food.

I'll take pics when i go pick my Heeler up, she was born nov 5th.
