Off center

This and fuel tank clearance. Things are pretty tight 89+ between the driveshaft and the factory fuel tank.
Yeah. I noticed recently that un original configuration, my rear druveshaft has actually rubbed on the fuel tank skid plate a few times. That explains a strange noise I've heard when the truck has been really twisted and flexed. I'm hoping to correct that also.

Ok. Interesting facts;

The front of my 3.0l is 1" offset to the passenger side. That is measured at the harmonic balancer.

The output flange of my 1354e transfer case is nearly perfectly centered between the frame rails.

I measured varying amounts of offset in between those points, like at the bellhousing forward flange and the transmission mount.

That means my engine, transmission and transfer case are crooked - pointed toward the rear driver side wheel, roughly.

The differential is offset to the passenger side - a lot more than 1 inch.

What this means for me is that I will attempt to put my 5.0l in 1" closer to the passenger side like my 3.0l is. But I will try to keep it straight that way because I need extra clearance for my new transfer case to fit inside the driver side frame rail. If I can make that happen, I'll be golden.

You may need something different. Do what makes sense for your build.
So how u doing radiator and fan cause they not going to be center and what radiator u using mountaineer radiator want fit in my 96
