My credo
Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Plan for it as best you can.
The 2019 Ranger is the second best in crash test results behind the Honda Ridgeline.

The ridgeline is not a truck.

Thanks for posting this sgtsandman

So since we all agree that the Ridgeline is not a truck... we can all agree that the 2019 Ranger is the safest mid-sized truck.

That is the “in between the lines” read I get. They have to report the Ridgeline as a truck to keep from hurting feelings but the Ridgeline isn’t anymore of a truck than any of the other cars that had an open cargo area ever were.

Just grow some balls and call it how it is.

The Ridgeline isn't a midsize pickup. It's a Ute.

Honda posted their Ridgeline desert truck on Instagram, and got so much shit from people in the comments that they deleted the post.

Their was nothing Ridgeline about the truck they posted except the body panels.

Well ridgeline aside it's nice to see the new ranger get great safety rating. The earlier models got iffy safety ratings at best.

I guess the Aussies build a safe truck.

LOL J/K

you could call the ridgeline a crew cab el camino basically. the new ones look like they have a accord front end.

El Caminos weren’t unibody.

hell, i thought they were, sure theres a front subframe for the engine/suspention but i thought the rest was just like any other malibu they were based off of.

The Malibu wasn’t unibody.

It might not be a truck per sé, a Ridgeline is pretty nice and you can put plywood in the bed that has a cooler built in the floor.
